People use Cannabidiol (CBD) Oil for treating chronic pain. Various health conditions like inflammation, pain and body discomfort are treated. CBD Oil is an extract from cannabis. CBD for Chronic pain relief

The results showed reduced overall pain and inflammation in the rats’ affected joints without side effects.

CBD gel could be helpful to people with arthritis, but more studies are required.

CBD for cancer relief treatment

People who have cancer also use CBD oil. Cancer tumors in mice have shown a reduction from the use of CBD oil in some studies. Role of CBD oil in reducing pain related to cancer as well as a cancer treatment is a matter of research for human studies. The National Cancer Institute (NCI) is also looking into using CBD for relieving pain caused by chemotherapy.
In a study by NCI, CBD oil extracts were sprayed into the mouth with opioids for tests. There was a positive result, but more research is needed.

CBD oil side effects

No significant risks have been concluded, but side effects are possible, which may be Nausea, Sleeping Issues, Irritability.

A non-habit forming characteristic shows a rare withdrawal symptom, minimal compared to an addictive substance like opioids.

The National Cancer Institute warns against use of CBD in Children due to possible adverse effects on brain development.

Further study

In conclusion, there isn’t sufficient data to prove CBD oil as a solution to pain relief, but these products could be useful to some extent. More human studies are needed though.
